Rhonda is a licensed agent in California & Nevada., a Certified South Shore Specialist, Relocation Specialist & familiar with veterans’ needs. She focuses primarily on the South Shore but extends her service to the Carson Valley and Reno upon request. She was elected President of the South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® (STAOR) in 2020 & was also voted 2020 Realtor of the Year. She continues to serve the association as Chair of Long Term Planning, Vice Chair of MLS committee, member of Local Government Relations committee and as the STAOR representative on the Board of Directors for the Tahoe Chamber of Commerce. She has been active at the state level serving on California Association of REALTORS® Legislative Committee and Global Real Estate Forum. Soon after pivoting to real estate she was voted the 2014 Rookie of the Year & chaired the Scholarship Committee for five years raising funds for high school seniors in the area. These positions give her extensive working knowledge of local, regional and state-wide issues including rental regulations, safety concerns and legislation.
Rhonda has spent her life in the arts both on and off stage. She is a skilled singer, dancer, actor, and choreographer with a strong competitive gymnastics background from her youth. She supports, performs & volunteers with Tahoe Arts Project, Valhalla Tahoe, Tahoe Arts Alliance, Black Ice Theatre Co, Lake Tahoe Community College, Western Nevada Community College & studios from Tahoe to Reno. After living in Colorado, Las Vegas, San Diego and Alaska, she came to Lake Tahoe almost 20 years ago for “just one winter” & never left. She enjoys paddling, hiking, camping, snowshoeing, skiing, and being anywhere outside with her husband and dog. She & her dog, Benny, volunteer with Tahoe Truckee Humane Society where Benny is a therapy dog. Rhonda spent several years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, then returned to Colorado to complete her Bachelor of the Arts with Colorado State University in Communications, with an emphasis in Communication Theory.
