SEPTEMBER 8TH

42nd Great Reno 
Balloon Race

t's that time of year when multicolor balloons and whacky inflated characters blanket the Reno skies. As many as 100 balloons will take to the air when the 42nd annual Great Reno Balloon Race commences this week. GRBR, which dubs itself the world’s largest free hot-air ballooning event, runs from Sept. 8-10.
 

SEPTEMBER 15TH

RINGO STARR & HIS ALL STARR BAND

Friday, September 15th, 6:30 pm, Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys. Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band is a renowned musical group led by the legendary drummer Ringo Starr. Formed in 1989, the band features a rotating lineup of accomplished musicians from various backgrounds, each bringing their unique talent to the stage.

SEPTEMBER 16th

FALL ALE FEST & CHICKEN WING CONTEST

The 3rd Annual Fall Ale Fest, featuring fifteen beer, seltzer and kombucha samples is set and ready to go! Along with the Fall Ale Fest is the annual Village Chicken Wing Contest. Gun Barrel Tavern, Fire and Ice, Kalanis, The Loft and last years champion, California Burger, will be competing for who has the best wings. Sample wing plates are available for just $6.
